1. A title that stimulates
Use a title that appeals and stimulates. A title such as 'Info Session Mobility' is sufficient for internal use, but it is not very appealing. If you are going to communicate about this action, it is better to use, for example, 'Discover the best ways to get around in Herent' as a title.
2. Use images: photo and film
An image says more than a thousand words. Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but pictures always speak louder than just text 😊. Do you have a movie? Even better!
Pro tip: Add photos and/or videos to the description of an action!
Inspiration: There are many websites where you can find a number of rights-free photos for your public page. Think for example of Unsplash.
3. Add a result to actions
Of course you can't attach a result to every action, but we strongly advise you to do so if you have a result. For example, you can communicate about how many participants your group purchase (already) counts. That number will be highlighted.
4. Use links
A link allows you to give more information, to link to your own website or to pages of other parties, for example. You have two possibilities:
A clickable button: create it in 'Links' in your action.
A link in the description of your action
5. Let citizens participate
You can choose whether or not citizens can participate in an action. If they can participate, a 'Join this action' appears under the action, engaging a citizen to take action.
6. Visualise your most important actions on top
You can't choose the order of actions on the public page for the time being, but you can make them 'sticky'. A 'sticky' action will always stay at the top and will be seen first 👀.
