Below is a list of the elements you need to create your action or measure on Futureproofed. If you don't have all this data, it doesn't matter of course, you can still get started with the information you have. 💪 😎
For a measure
General data
Title: The name of your measure/action. It should be short, specific and easily identifiable.
Brief description: A concise summary of your measure. This should include what the measure entails and its primary goal.
Detailed information (including sources): Here, you can provide more comprehensive information about your measure. This includes the methodology, anticipated outcomes, sources of information and data, and any other relevant details.
Start- and end dates: The dates when the measure is expected to begin and end.
Responsible person(s): The individual(s) or team(s) who are accountable for the implementation and tracking of the measure.
Sector(s) (mitigation and/or adaptation): The domain(s) in which this measure has a positive impact on mitigation or adaptation.
Monitoring data
Unit: The unit of measurement that will be used to track the measure's progress. The choice of the unit will depend mainly on data availability. If you're unsure, take a look at some of our standard measures and browse for some inspiration.
Objective: The specific goal or target you aim to achieve with the measure.
Progress: The level of achievement of the measure's objective. This can be reported on several different dates.
Mitigation data
Scope (1/2 or 3): The area of impact of the measure, categorised as 1, 2, or 3.
Emissions reduction per unit (ton CO2/unit): The amount of carbon dioxide emissions equivalent (in tons CO2e) reduced per unit of the measure.
Reduction in energy consumption per unit (kWh/unit) if applicable: The amount of energy savings (in kWh) per unit of the measure, if applicable.
Data on adaptation (optional)
Risks: The climate risks that will be reduced as a result of the implementation of the measure.
Financial data
Investment(s) per unit (€/unit): The amount of money spent on each unit of the measure. This represents the capital necessary to implement the measure and typically doesn't include maintenance costs. This would typically include the costs associated with planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the measure. It is usually expressed as a cost per unit to standardise it and make it easier to compare with other measures.
For example, if you are implementing a project to replace traditional light bulbs with LED bulbs in a building, the 'Investment per unit' would be the cost of buying and installing each LED bulb.
Title(s) of the investor(s): The name(s) of the person, group, or entity providing the funding for the measure. You are able to choose from a dropdown.
Annual savings per unit (€/unit): The amount of money saved annually per unit due to implementing the measure.
Title(s) of the saver(s) (the people/group/entity/... that saves money): The name(s) of the person, group, or entity that financially benefits from the savings resulting from the measure. You are able to choose from a dropdown.
Additional public data
Possible public link(s): Relevant external links that provide more information about the measure.
Photo or image: Visual representation or illustration relevant to the measure.
Possible additional data
Co-benefits: The additional benefits that result from the measure, such as better air quality or better quality of infrastructure. You are able to choose from a defined list of co-benefits, which the Sustainable Development Goals inspire.
Tags: Keywords or phrases that can be used to categorize or quickly identify your measure.
Clusters: Groups of measures that align to the structure of your climate plan.
Internal data
Internal notes: Any notes for internal use only that would help in the management, tracking, or improvement of the measure.
Possible internal documents: Relevant documents such as reports, studies, or meeting notes related to the measure, for internal use only.
